Our Story
World Merit as a brand was born in 2012. Not long after the World Merit Charity was established, our strength is based on fantastic diversity and our desire for positive impact. In 2020, the World Merit Charity partnered with QS, a leading international company in the education sector. As two organisations with a global reach, now, newly renamed QS ImpACT strives to recognize and build talent in young people to lead through impact.

Inauguration
The inaugural World Merit Day in 2014, held in Liverpool, was attended by 3000 young people from around the globe. The event was a hub of learning and opportunity. Sir Ken Robinson and Nobel Peace Prize winner Malala Yousafzai were the keynote speakers and became new World Merit ambassadors.
