Good health and well-being

<p>BioClimate Restoration Empowerment Initiative is a school based project that I initiated to address the challenge of climate change in Kenya. I implement the project in public primary and secondary schools in Bomet County, Kenya. I conduct Climate change literacy program for teachers and students integrated with tree planting in schools. On 27th August 2022 I led the planting of 800 Cypress tree seedlings and 200 Quava fruit trees in Taboino primary school, Cheptalal primary school, Satiet primary school and Aregeriot Secondary school.</p><p>The learners and teachers have been empowered with knowledge on drivers of climate change, mitigation and adaptation measures.</p>

Through BioClimate Restoration Empowerment Initiative, 41 teachers and 893 school children have been empowered with knowledge on drivers of climate change, mitigation and adaptation measures.
