We are excited to announce that QS ImpACT has been successfully accredited to the United Nations Environment Assembly of the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP). This is a huge step towards our mission of developing young talent to lead through impACT for a regenerative future.

UNEP is an organization responsible for environmental issues within the United Nations system, such as developing international environmental agreements, delivering science and developing solutions for climate change, and helping in achieving the environmental dimension of the UN Sustainable Development Goals.

What does this mean for QS ImpACT?

As an accredited organization, QS ImpACT is granted observer status to the United Nations Environment Assembly and its subsidiary bodies. As such, we will be able to participate in Regional Consultation Meetings and other public meetings, contribute to the preparation of Regional Civil Society Statements, and submit written contributions to working documents of the Assembly.

Through this accreditation, we aim to bring the incredible work of our communities in over 87 countries from the local to a global stage, influence policy and change through UN consultations and events, and amplify the youth voice on environmental issues. We are grateful for this opportunity to engage in important environmental dialogues and create a bigger impACT toward a regenerative future.
