Our Path Forward: Leadership Transition at QS ImpACT

From volunteering at university to managing QS ImpACT Charity together, Aashna and Beth have been championing the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) for over 8 years. Throughout this journey, their dedication has been unwavering.

QS ImpACT is excited to announce a change in leadership: Aashna Shah, Senior Program Officer, is stepping up to the role of Chief Operating Officer (COO), as Beth Eden concludes her tenure as QS ImpACT’s Chief Executive Officer in June 2024. Over the past two years, Aashna has been instrumental in launching the Live ImpACT Program and ImpACT Awards, as well as other community challenges such as Trees for Merit and Global Day of Action. Her journey with the charity began in 2017 as a volunteer with the Canadian council through the University of Waterloo.

We extend our heartfelt thanks to Beth for her leadership during key transitions of the Charity over 3 years, including our evolution to QS ImpACT, accreditation by the United Nations Environment Program and launch of the Skills Challenge. Under her leadership, QS ImpACT has seen significant growth, increasing from just over 1000 community members to over 4500 in 90+ countries, and expanding its network of youth councils and partners. Beth’s guidance and vision have been crucial to our development and accomplishments.

As we look to the future, QS ImpACT remains committed to driving meaningful change and advancing the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Under Aashna’s leadership as COO, we are confident that we will continue to make a lasting impact globally. We are excited about the new opportunities ahead and the continued growth of our community and programs.

Join us in celebrating this new chapter at QS ImpACT together!
