The QS ImpACT team was recently in Nairobi, Kenya, for the sixth session of the United Nations Environment Assembly. During our time in Nairobi, we participated in several youth and community engagements.
One of these engagements was a tree-planting activity, for a cause close to all our hearts: environmental sustainability. The tree-planting activity took place on 29th February at Moi Avenue Primary School in Nairobi, in collaboration with our valued partners: Kabuchai Youth Environment and Climate Change Warriors, Climate Justice Advocacy, and the Go Green Team.
The participants engaged in various activities throughout the day, including preparing the soil, planting saplings, and watering the newly planted trees. The activity brought together community members, local youth volunteers and environmental enthusiasts from various backgrounds.
The day was really special because the Chief Administrator of the area, who is a well-known person, joined our cause. Along with a lively group of young people who care about the environment as much as we do, we set out on a mission to make a real difference.
As we dug the ground and planted trees, each young tree became a reminder of the ideals we all share and the work we do together to make the world a better place. Planting trees was more than just a symbolic act; it was a strong statement of our dedication to taking care of both the community and the environment.
QS ImpACT extends its heartfelt gratitude to all volunteers, partners, and supporters who contributed to the success of this initiative. Together, we can make a difference and create a greener, healthier planet for generations to come.
As we work to make the world a better place, one tree at a time, stay tuned. We are planting the seeds of good change together and making sure that our shared values grow deep and strong.
