AIESEC UK: Empowering Youth Leadership and Cultural Understanding
AIESEC UK, is a dynamic youth-run organization. They hold a special place among our impact partners. With a mission to provide opportunities for young people to develop leadership skills and cross-cultural understanding, AIESEC UK aligns seamlessly with QS ImpACT’s vision.
Many of our founders and alumni are proud AIESECers, and this shared background has forged a strong connection. Through international exchanges involving volunteering, internships, teaching, and a robust membership program, AIESEC UK continues to inspire and nurture future leaders who are committed to making a difference.
Youth Climate Report: Amplifying Youth Voices on Climate Change
The Youth Climate Report stands as a powerful testament to the impact young voices can have on global issues. A multilinear, interactive, database documentary film project, the Youth Climate Report utilizes a Geographic Information System (GIS) map to showcase over 750 videos of climate research produced by youth worldwide.
As a partner program of the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change, this initiative trains under-represented youth communities, including Indigenous People and those in remote areas, to use film as a communication tool. The result? A chorus of diverse voices representing underrepresented perspectives at UN climate summits and contributing to a more inclusive dialogue on climate change.
hyperPad: Making App Development Accessible to All
“Easy to learn, fun to use!” – hyperPad epitomizes accessibility and creativity. This app, designed for users of all ages, empowers individuals to create their own apps with no code. This promotes core skill development in tech and personal – fostering a spirit of innovation.
From professors developing games for profit to youth creating impactful environmental apps, hyperPad’s versatility inspires and enables users from diverse backgrounds to access technology. At QS ImpACT, we celebrate the democratization of technology through platforms like hyperPad, making the creation of impactful apps a possibility for everyone. They help open doors to opportunities that you’d typically need a university degree for!
Global Tree Initiative (GTI): Growing a Greener Future Together
Founded by Tenzin Osel Hita in 2019, the Global Tree Initiative (GTI) is a grassroots organization that brings together individuals passionate about the future of our planet. With a focus on fostering strong connections between people and the land, GTI has partnered with QS ImpACT on initiatives such as the Trees for Merit Challenge. This year-long challenge witnessed the planting of thousands of trees, involving hundreds of individuals and welcoming them into our global community of tree-planters. Together, we’re cultivating a greener future for all.
UNESCO Chair in Reorienting Education towards Sustainability: Leading in Education for Sustainable Development (ESD)
The UNESCO Chair in Reorienting Education towards Sustainability holds the distinction of being the first chair in the world dedicated to promoting Education for Sustainable Development (ESD). Today, ESD is recognized as a key enabler of sustainable development, and our collaboration with the UNESCO Chair involves working with various stakeholders in the UNESCO family. Together, we aim to advance sustainable development through transformative education.
