Winning a QS Impact Award isn’t just about recognition; it’s about making real, measurable change in the world. Ready to become a changemaker? Follow these five simple steps to make your mark and possibly take home a prestigious award!
Step 1: Register on the QS ImpACT Platform and Verify Your Email 📧
Before you start making an impact, it’s important to get officially onboard! Head over to the QS ImpACT platform and sign up. Make sure to verify your email – this ensures you’re all set up and ready to document and share your impact story with us. Plus, it’s an essential step to unlock the rest of the process.
Step 2: Make an Impact! 🌍
Now that you’re registered, it’s time to choose your category of impact:
- Climate education & advocacy
- Protecting community biodiversity
- Tackling the plastic pollution crisis
- Regenerating urban spaces
- Innovating green solutions
- Championing women’s leadership in climate action
Pick a cause that your community needs! Once you’ve chosen your impact category, gather some friends or family and conduct an impact activity that creates measurable change. Be sure to take photos, and shoot videos during your activity – these will be essential later on!
Step 3: Log in and Upload Your ImpACT Report 📸
Log in to the QS ImpACT platform and click on the “Impact Reports” section. Click on “Upload an Impact” and start sharing your story! Give it an appropriate title, write a description, select your SDGs, and add all your photos, videos, and links. Don’t forget to select the award category you’re entering, and link any social media posts or resources you created. The more details and links you provide, the stronger and more verifiable your impact report will be!
The deadline for uploading an ImpACT report is 4th November 2024.
⚠ Please note: If you are applying for the Skills Challenge Award or Best Student SDG Project Award, the deadline for these two is earlier – 15th September 2024.
Step 4: Submit and Wait for Approval ⏳
Once your impact report is complete, hit submit and our team will get to work! We will review and validate your submission, it is a process that typically takes 3-5 working days. During this time, sit tight, knowing you’re one step closer to winning a QS ImpACT Award!
Step 5: Watch for the Big Day 🎉
Once your impact report is validated and live on our page, you’re officially eligible for a QS ImpACT Award. Mark your calendar for December 10th, 2024 – the day we announce the winners. Sit back, relax, and keep an eye out to see if your impactful work has earned you a spot in the spotlight at our awards ceremony!
